Today we bought another Standie. Major Bacchus

He looks great Leanne! Where did ya find him??? Not that I want anymore, 3 horses is plenty for me!

Got him of Ruth at Sheffield. Yes we have the Standie bug and he is HUGE. we have horse wearing 4'9 to 6'9 rugs now.
Oh well got to love them.

You will see his is listed as brown - the racing people call them all sorts of colours LOL. Heres a pic of my Ben with Coby riding him, as you can see he is very Bay - yet he is registered as a chestnut When I mentioned this to his previous owner/breeder she said 'but he is'.....as he looked reddish when he was younger apparently

He only had the one races start here in Tas, Vic bred & raced over there. If you click on his sire/dam is shows their prdigree also & theres links at the top of the page where you can see racing/breeding performance too. Its an excellent site & due to their unique branding its easy to find out the breeding/history of all Stbs from this site.

Yes I have sent a copy of his pedigree, his birth date is different to the Rego from SPPHAT . Thats why I have attached it to his transfer. Thanks

Thats another thing with Stbs too - LOTS are born on the 1st of September according to the site, as few breeders seem to record the info correctly so they are registered as 01/09 in accordance with their general birthday (Stbs age on the 1st September not the 1st of August like other breeds).

OH thats ok then, leave the date thats on his Standie papers then as he was born in October I think and in Victoria. I sent his papers of this morning.

Yes Coby he is HUGE its not fun trying to get a 6'9 rug on him thats for sure I need a ladder.
But Amelia loves him taking him to the Pinto show on the 5th April

we have finally been told by her doctor that she can start to ride again, and do some light riding so hopefully on the 26th of June she will be taking either Charlie or Bacchus to the show.
